These walls held hope.
This room held a thousand memories from a time that was more cheerful than now.
It held memories of late night laugher, silly games we played till dawn and sitting on the window sill watching to stars. We would sit in the corner crying because things had changed and would never be the same. We shared stories, memories and secrets. We listened to bad music with bad coffee and bad jokes. We took photographs and put them on the walls, until there wasn’t a blank space to be seen.
We were young and we thought we we’re invincible. This was our safe haven, our place away from the pain of our everyday lives.
These walls had seen many things. They had held love, happiness, pain and anger but most of all, these walls had held hope.
