The Current and the Breeze (Part 2)
(Continued)
He gazed upon the song of his heart,
With eyes relentless.
He must obtain the apple of his eye,
No matter the sentence.
So he stripped himself of his power,
To the waves unexpected.
He shed the pride bounding him to sorrow,
He left himself unprotected.
The Current stared,
Into the eyes.
Of his one true,
Heavenly prize.
No power, no glory,
Would ever compare.
To the sight of his love,
The Breeze in the air.
The Breeze was delicate,
But strong in its own right.
She danced with such eloquence,
The Current never broke sight.
She was the most beautiful marvel,
The earth had ever known.
The Current courted her,
And their love was shown.
For all nature to envy,
All hearts to adore,
The Current and the Breeze,
A love destined for more.
