Sci-fi to the core, but still rings true to the manner in which troops are often trained. The shared blame is part of how we think we are building a cohesive unit. Brutal all the way around, as illustrated here.
After reading the first entry, I had not expected the turn, and that he would be dead. I hope that’s only what they think.
All in all, an entertaining read. To be honest, the name drew me to read this, as I share the poor guy’s name. So, I’m hoping he isn’t really gone. :P
I agree with Epona. He comes across as uncaring, shown by the anger flashed at him for the blunt way of describing their friend, but it turns out he has a heart, after all.
I am, definitely, looking forward to more of this, if any is on the way.
