The intention is to collect an array of stories that are those “awkward” moments written in the first person. Doesn’t have to stick to just the male POV. I was thinking of collating as much as possible and converting it into a tale where we use these experiences to have these two unfortunate characters and when they get together through the narrative their misfortune multiplies.

In addition, doesn’t need to be your experiences. Could be something someone told you or something you saw or even a fabrication that came to you and made you chuckle.

So I hope you’ll enjoy joining in the tales of “Awkward…” :)

This is a good idea – who doesn’t relish reliving those cringing, awful moments that one wishes had never happened? Potential for good drama, and cathartic as well.

You may have been better off setting this as a challenge, but I hope that people contribute anyway (not me of course – I’ve never had any embarrassing moments. Oh no).

Ouch, painful all the way. Nicely and brutally told, really putting us in this guy’s shoes.

@JonB – I’ve never had any either haha. It wasn’t my experience honest… In fact it was my friend’s. In fact it wasn’t even my friend’s experience it was my friend of a friend’s :P.

To be honest, I’m only learning the ropes here so didn’t consider it. Maybe I’ll repost this as one :)
