Pretty harsh, being told by Death himself that you are the most boring person who has ever died. Pleasingly light-hearted, despite the grim subject matter.

Interesting element, not too sure if it’s intentional.

Boring could refer to one of the 7 deadly sins: Sloth, as in being spiritually and emotionally vacant by purposefully ignoring God.

So basically a person whose sin is Sloth, they would make the best student for this type of training because they’ve ignored God anyway.

Not exactly the answer I suppose he was hoping for. Nobody wants to be told they are boring. Given the title, perhaps Death sees something of his own boredom in this mortal’s bland existence.
