This has made me so sad for Bruno. Bruno is so calloused. I care what happens to him and I’m interested to see where he takes himself.
Also, I love the food metaphors. Food is a powerful symbol—we need it and it can take all sorts of form. I like the way, specifically, you use the peach.

This is really good stuff – the Greek yoghurt line alone is worth the price of admission, but in all it is a very skillful bit of writing.

Also, on a related note, congratulations on the feature – I’m always unsure whether it is an actual person who choses those, or some sort of sophisticated algorithm, but if it is the latter, then it is an algorithm with good taste!
