One Question (10)

The Arbiters were part of an inter-galactic organization which put each race in its most purposeful position to serve the greater good. This did not mean that this organization was good, as the concepts of Good and Evil did not exist in the multi-raced group.

The organization had hundreds of races, and just as many jobs to do. The Arbiters were specifically chosen to do one thing – judge sentient races and determine if they were a threat to the organization. They moved through space with their JumpShips, which allowed them to cross incalculable distances. That technology was provided by a different race and so we see the inherent beauty of the group.

They asked The Question to a representative of the race on trial. That individual was chosen based on a complex assessment of the race. That single being was brought to The Court and asked one question. The answer would determine the fate of the race.

Threat or Ally. Which are we?

The question was always the same. The answers varied greatly.
