I like the literal bang to start this off.

Cerdon, whatever he may have done to be pursued by something like that, seems like an interesting character.

But no one escapes an Archon.

Good line. With the entrance the elf made, I’m curious to know more of these Archons.

Now, I’m left wondering if Cerdon is going to throw that dagger or attempt a more direct assault. Either way, I look forward to where this may go.

this is really good pacing. The lizardman being ignored sends lends to the suspense.
