LoveKittyCraft, Part IV: The Necronomicon

You can be forgiven for wondering why someone seeking to create pleasing stimuli would utilize something as foul as the Necronomicon. There is a common misconception that those dark writings are offensive on a very base level, but this is not the case. While the grotesque visions conjured by that archaic prose are indeed appalling, it is not the lower animal brain that is offended.

Normal writing utilizes language as a means of stimulating memories within the lower mind. These memories of colors, smells, and other sensations are connected in the higher mind into a scene which can be studied rationally; however, the alien quality of the Mad Arab’s writings are such that no such memories can possibly exist within the lower mind. Unable to offer anything to the rational mind, the animal mind becomes docile and silent. This leaves the higher mind wholly incapable of applying rational thought to the presented image. Needless to say I was fascinated by this reaction and sought to utilize similar techniques.
