As always, the best start for stories is to break down your writing into paragraphs. It is both easier to read visually and to understand intellectually. Think of a paragraph as the sentence of sentences. It should encompass a complete idea before moving forward.

Ah true, true Katana – but rather more angst-ridden than romantic. Try setting a trend and writing an old-fashioned love story instead – we could do with some of that round here.
