Very dark and verging on the edge of nutsy. Some punctuation stuff, like the comma-splice x 2 at the end of the first paragraph. Overall though, a fun read.
An unexpected take on the challenge brief, that’s for sure. Plays on the reader’s expectations by apparently starting off as one thing and then turning into something quite shocking by the end. Nicely done.
A couple of comma-splices as THX says, and there’s felinic as well… but hey, it all works.
