I’ve read this half a dozen times over the past couple of weeks and still don’t quite know what to make of it, though I like it a great deal.

It has a very insistent, driving quality to it and the way it builds up to the mid-point (Homeward bound after the solstice of my life) and then flutters back down the other side is fascinating – approaching then receding with a sort of narrative doppler effect.

Thanks for telling me. I don’t normally write free verse, but these were my primary, specific thoughts that night.
