Stories that stay in my head....

As I lay in bed I write stories in my mind: romance, fantasy, rants, stream of consciousness junk. It doesn’t matter what it is, I write constantly; never worrying about punctuation as the words dance around free of their boundaries……proper punctuation is for the uncreative, rule bound few that use this forum to showcase a superior intelligence…or their view of what superior intelligence looks like — multi-syllable vocabulary looked up just in time to meet the character requirements — For this reason my stories stay in my head where they’re not edited, again and again debating on my use of the semi-colon…or all these ellipses. Do they make sense? Did I capitalize in all the correct places? Will my comments be filled with grammar suggestions? Or, like I tell my ESL students, grammar and mechanics aren’t so important as long as your content shines through.

What if I just want to explore the usage of grammar to create flow and breaks in all the right places? Intentional errors.
