I was bothered by the Provost sending soldiers to clean out the colony, because the only military I knew about was his enemy, USNE. So we need another army, yes?
The Provost couldn’t have sent USNE troops; they aren’t the Synod’s to command. But sending his own troops into USNE territory would be an act of war. So, I guessed he wanted it both ways. And invented another army; the power of the pen!

“Almost suspicious” is definitely not “suspicious”. Suspicion sounds accusatory, and it would be absolutely not within the purview of the Office of Colonial Intelligence to make such claims.
