Great sense of history between these two here, they’ve known each other long enough that some things don’t need to be said.

Thanks, I really like allowing dialogue and tone to establish relationships/history between characters. I think it makes for stronger characterization.

Of course now I have no idea what happens next, but that’s usually the case.

Cute back and forth, and I find the guy quite likable, in a rogue-ish sort of way. His confidence is fitting for someone who would be entangled with a princess.

Dabrose asserting his independence here – and she’s clearly not happy about that. He’ll probably live to regret it.
