I like the looking-up-from-the-book intrusion of reality at the beginning, before the fantasy narrative resumes. And the last of his kind theme of the latter adds an inevitable poignancy. Good stuff.
PS – I pressed the wrong button when submitting this, and accidentally gave you a one pencil rating, which I couldn’t remove. So I’ve had to countermand it with 5 pencils. Ordinarily I don’t use it the system at all!
