Well, this is interesting – if a bit odd. Not sure what the ‘questionable’ bread taboo thing is about, or quite what these characters are (superheroes of some sort? Perhaps some cultural reference that I’m not aware of). But as a character-driven piece it works well enough.

There’s no cultural reference haha. I meant to leave this quite ambiguous (possibly prompting someone to sequel or prequel!) only to paint enough of a picture that there is still excitement about what is happening without straight out saying it.
