This thing’s been kicking around in my Drafts folder ever since Sir Bic’s “wordiness is bliss” challenge. It was a backstory for Acrylic, which was uniquely suitable for such a challenge.

I like the portentous voice-over narration of this, and the subtle futuristic elements. It’s pretty wordy, so I imagine it fitted BiC’s original challenge brief (don’t kn0w exactly what that was).

Overall, very engaging.

Quite the vocabulary in this one. At first it felt a bit more Midevil than the setting, but by the end it settles in nicely as how an intellectual might narrate their own first person experience.
