Ho ho! I love this story. Morbid and creepy. So she started punching 4 year olds or she became a pederast? I knew I set you on follow for a reason!

I love the little fragments – it moves the narrative along quickly and gives an insight into the narrator’s state as well.

The voice is really compelling and authentic.

This is just wonderful. I didn’t see the end coming (though I prolly should have). Strong, clean, tells the story in broad strokes without having too many holes.

Very disturbing. The bleak fragmented sentences convey this guy’s state of mind very effectively.

Slight typo, should be ’my father was a good man??

But otherwise a really good piece of fiction. At least I’m hoping it’s fiction . . .

“She wore cat eye glasses and distrust on her face” is a great line. And the shout out to NKOTB is a pleasant surprise as well.

Overall, it’s a very entertaining read, with an obscenely dark tone which appeals to me in an uncomfortable manner. I do feel like the voice is a bit erratic, but being in first person makes it ok.

Good job. I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable rating a story 5/5 that involves the killing of a spouse, but to be certain I absolutely adored this.
