The Lullaby
A mother walks past her sleeping infants room when she hears a strange tune and a young girls voice. The voice was singing calmly and quietly.
“Hush little baby don’t you cry.
Im gonna sing you a lullaby.
Hush little baby don’t you weep.
That body of yours is not to keep”.
At this line the baby begins to cry. The voice starts sounding angry and continues to sing.
“Hush little baby. Not. A. Word.
Not that it wooould ever be heard.
Hush little baby. Go. To. Sleep.
Oh little baby not you weep.”
The song ended and the mother rushed over to the crib only to find her daughter gone.
