Water, love. (Part 1)

She is caught in that world. Thinking of what could have been. If she said this, did that, what would life have been like. Holding onto that one love she thought she had. And yet falling in love with another, differently, kissing differently, feeling differently. ‘They do it, let’s fall in love’. What is it that she is so afraid of. They say ’It’s better to have loved than to have nothing’. And yet, there’s that feeling you have before going swimming. You think it is tiresome to go to the pool, get naked and relax your muscles. And even when you have your toes in the surface of the warm and yet cool waters, you’re not sure if you should get in the water at all. You don’t want to shiver, have your nose go all running down. But then, one toe by one toe, you enter that world you were so afraid of getting into.
