Car Troubles.
Dan looked over with a smile. “Ready Babe?” He questioned as he turned the key in the ignition. “Ye..” I paused, hearing the starter make that horrible click. “I’ll try again.” Dan said as he attempted once more to no avail.
I quickly realize what had happened. Our cell phones had been left plugged into the Auxiliary port in the dash. “Darn it, Dan. I can’t believe it!” Dan popped the hood and hopped out, staring at the engine as he thought of our next move. “I-I dunno.” He said with a shrug.
I hopped out of my seat and glanced up at the sun as I stomped softly over to Dan. “It’s getting hot Babe, we have to do something.” I said with a pout.
“Hey, at least our phones are charged.” Dan said, attempting to make light of the situation. I stuck my tongue out but quickly sucked it back in as I ran over and hung through the car window, grabbing my cell. “Dan, that’s it! Our phones!”
“Don’t bother.” Said Dan. “We’re in the middle of nowhere and Bloomington is atleast an hour away. We’ll just have to walk.”
