This story really has my curiosity up

Cool story. I like the mix of edgy (Metallica shirt, wild hair, results of a nasty assault) with innocent/sweet (skirt, embarassment, etc.).

Sometimes, you’ve just got to roll with the punches. No point hiding just because your face (or dress) doesn’t fit with the conventional, unless you particularly want to spend your life as a hermit. (Which, frankly, I consider quite regularly. People are mostly quite horrible to be around.)
