The small details are what sell this for me, especially the hand grazing her belly. Is it just a caress? Or is there another forehead to kiss on the way? Subtle.
I wasn’t too sure of what he was using a little extra of at the beginning—context makes it seem like toothpaste, but it almost reads like some sort of pick-me-up, especially since I’ve never really thought that using more toothpaste was necessarily better, unless you’re only using a whisper of it to begin with.
