Nice look into Death’s consciousness. It doesn’t keep quite the same darkly comedic style as the others—it’s just dark—but that works pretty well with Death itself. Twisty flashback too.
pretty neat… only thing that bugs me is the dimension thing: we’re actually in the 4th because of the whole time element. Other than that intriguing. I still have to read the others, though…
I like the twist. Everyone tries to imagine killing Hitler when he was a cute, sweet little baby. This is much better, because he was a down-on-his-luck artist, and it would have been a lot easier to kill him rather than the baby.
