4.17 per second

What is the value of a man?

The philosopher says:
“He sets his own value, and it should always be high!”

The politician says:
“Very valuable, and equally as value as everyone else.”

The pious say:
“Oh, most precious to our lord… undeservedly so!”

However, the pragmatic state:
“Well value is the intersection of supply and demand. 4.17 are born each second, yet 2 fewer expire. Even in the gravest time we still bolster our numbers, catering to a very real demand that has progressed towards imaginary. So supply is infinite, therefore value is zero.”

The pious, politician, and philosopher look with pity upon the pragmatic:
“Poor, poor fool.”
