Imogen Heap is the lead singer of this band and to tell you the truth I have no clue who else is in it. She’s incredibly talented and I have trouble deciphering which is from her colo records and which is the band.
Let’s talk lyrics. With Frou Frou/Imogen, she (or they) always have hidden meanings to their songs. It all seems mixed up and confusing and you don’t know what’s happening, except then you realize that that was the point. I think that each song is interesting in its own way, not like the mainstream bands whose songs all sound exactly alike.
I couldn’t classify which type of music they would be if my life depended on it.
Just For Now is a great song with all of the intense and stressful ingredients to make the perfect holiday. I also love the cover they did for the second Shrek movie. They exceed their bounderies every time.
