great! i love the ‘venting’ style. it usually turns out much better than expected. hey, it got my friend up on the popular list quicker that 200 stories and poems did for me.

I’m appreciating how much of yourself you present to your audience here – and this is no exception. And the only counsel I can offer is that people who must strike out at any interaction generally are looking for the argument, not for satisfaction. These are people to avoid. Let them fall into their own pitfalls – you don’t need to be there for them to fall down themselves. (And this applies to parents as well – especially parents who would rather argue than work together.)

I wonder if she reads this if it’ll get through to her…. I don’t think so. She will go into defensive: ball up like a porcupine under duress. At least I understand better now :P
