Fallen Angels (Pt. 15)
Basil was collapsed on the floor and gasping for air when the electricity stopped surging through him. The female’s voice emitted a high-pitched, deafening scream. After the scream, he heard muffled voices like someone accidentally left the PA system on.
The blonde girl across the room was leaning against the glass and breathing heavily with her eyes closed. “Wh-what happened?” she asked, her voice raspy.
“I… I don’t know,” Basil responded. They were both staring at the ceiling, trying to figure out what made the woman scream.
“Just a minute, my little angels,” a man’s voice resounded through the room. He sounded disturbingly sweet.
Basil shuddered at the thought of what he might do to them next.
