I have a real problem in seeing how the ability to time travel at will is a curse, unless it also happens uncontrollably sometimes too. Maybe we could work on that in a sequel, or a prequel.

Mmm, read “The Time Traveler’s Wife” — time traveling can definitely be a curse. Although, agreed, at-will time traveling less so. But if all you ever wanted was to be “normal” and yet you had this pesky superpower… yes, a sequel most likely is required.
