“I never realised how much I dislike the smell of garlic,” Ralph thought as he threw another loaf of garlic bread onto a pile of bread that had created its own pile beside a bin heaving with more bread.
At first he had thought an experiment which created garlic bread was cute but when it failed to stop, it became an annoyance.
Every 10 minutes or so, a bread stick would appear baffling the young wizard.
He thought his theory was sound but like most people who think they are smarter than nature, he was wrong.
In trying to figure out the most basic questions of life – how did ‘it’ all start and what is ‘it’ made of, all Ralph had managed to do was annoy the wizard’s guild and create garlic bread. His experiment whereby he accelerated a single Q particle to a certain velocity then let it collide with another Q particle to cause an explosion was sound. There was just something wrong with it.
“I need to go bigger,” he said to another loaf of garlic bread which appeared in front of him. It didn’t answer back.
