Two's Company, Four's A Crowd; Especially In The Same Body

“Oliver,” Laylani sighed. “I’m four different people. Obviously people can’t handle that.”

Oliver looked over at her and started to say something.

“I know, I know. There are other people with split personalities.” She glared at him. “You know its different for us! I am not four fragmented personalities! I am four separate people inhabiting the same body with four different sets of memories! And none of them are even mine!

Oliver looked concerned. “Laylani, calm down. Just take a deep breath. You don’t want to change over, do you?”

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Those poor people in the lab… They all died… And now I have their memories…

“’Lani, its going to be ok. At least we remember something, right?” Oliver tried to be optimistic.

“Its easy for you.” She said through gritted teeth. “You’re only two.”

Oliver looked hurt. “That doesn’t make it easier.”

“I don’t even know who I was originally.” Laylani was on the verge of tears again.

Oliver put his arms around her.
