Is it sad that as I was reading this, I thought only how great it would be to be an alien so that I wouldn’t be tempted to fall asleep at my desk? I’d be so much more productive!

I enjoyed this. While on the surface it may be nice not to sleep, since it would make us all more productive, I have to think that productivity is a curse as well. After all, if there is nothing telling us to stop working, what’s to prevent us from just sitting at our desks at all hours, typing away? shudder
