That’s really good and very well-observed (as far as it can be for scifi!) – the thunk is exactly the kind of thing I’d do with that sort of technology. Very well done on avoiding the trap of explaining exactly what every little thing is too – as it is, we’ve got a convincing world without being needlessly wordy.

I’m with those two. Excellent read. Now, when is the novel being published? With a set-up this good, I’m left wanting another 600 pages.
