quite the twist to the normal “everybody says I love you to those they really love at the end of the world” story. :) But I guess, seven the unhappy things have to be said too.
I think that really told a lot about both characters. His showing up, his final words, her not caring and wanting him to be with her. It was touching in a screwed up way. And that’s the only way I’d have it. Great story.
@Ronnie I messed around a bit with the urls. See how when you create a story for a challenge, it adds “?challenge=155” (155 being the challenge’s ID) That indicates that the story will belong to a challenge. Now, when you try to create a sequel, it adds “?sequel=5186” at the end (5186 is the story’s ID.) If I wanted to create a story participating in the challenge with ID 155 and sequel to the stori with ID 5186, the URL would be http://ficly.com/stories/new?challenge=155&sequel=5186 Just replace 155 with the ID of the desired challenge and 5186 with the ID of the story you will be continuing.
Thanks, Ink! I’ve been wondering how to do that! One thing though: no matter how honest it was, it seemed kind of mean for him to say that when they only have minutes to live. I mean, couldn’t he let her hope?
Oy: At first I wanted him to say it subtly, but then I realized a very important thing: He’s a teenager. He doesn’t think before speaking, and thinks everything he says is the right thing to say.
