I love stories like that—ones that don’t exactly explain everything, but still leave you with a sense of… completion, if you will. Great entry! this is going to be tougher than I thought!
I LOVE this! It really drew me in, mostly because I didn’t have a frame of reference for what the protagonist was, so I had to just, y’know, look through its eyes.
earthworm facts: Technically the nose is called prostomium and the hairs are setae. Earthworms are hermaphrodites and have to be exactly the same size to reproduce. They have a number of hearts, usually 5, and such a tiny brain that removing it doesn’t change their behavior at all. Some can regrow body parts including the brain.
