Very fitting prequel, though I think some things might be out of chronological order. Mostly if the auto-injector is the same needle as the one in Brodo’s. Besides that, it works very well and I like the back story you put in it.

Confusing but seems to work to get across an addled state of mind. Very sad situation with lots of hints. Now I have to go read the sequel.

I think Stovohobo is right about the needle. Re-reading Brodo’s story, my needle doesn’t fit. So I took it out. It doesn’t take away from the story.
