Ah the pain of self-realization, knowing that even if you do something for someone else, you are still being selfish in that you are satisfying some emotional need of your own, whether that be Fear, Love, Respect, or the dark ones in my own soul I refuse to name.

That is the clincher of everything, isn’t it? Whatever you do, it always turns out being “selfish” in some way.

I like the relationship between these two. The dialogue really sends your imagination places.
