Report: Decedent found unresponsive on floor of corridor K-17. Piping unit suffered a severe and sudden compromise of the seam and proceeded to vent extremely hot steam. Said unit eventually came dislodged and connected with decedent’s skull and was found next to the corpse. Decedent pronounced dead on arrival at infirmary. Steam burns covered approximately sixty (60) percent of the decedent’s body. Autopsy findings support the below conclusions.
Cause of death: BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA to the head via contact with piping unit.
Manner: ACCIDENT
