The Di'menicus Aurora
The Haredek solar system is the largest in the known universe. Sixty four planets orbit the mammoth Agilien sun. Of these, the planet Di’menicus dwarfs all around it. Widely accepted as the centre of Haradek, eighty percent of the surrounding planets’ wealth and economy come in some way from the Di’menicus system.
The history of the planet spans back four thousand years, it has long been proven that the planet existed for countless millenia before this, but no history of this time has ever been found. For this reason, Di’menicus has taken on an almost mythic image among the inhabitants of the Haredek system.
The earliest recorded history of the system speaks of an aurora than swept across the northern skyline, lighting the night sky as far as the eye could see. No such event ever again graced the skies of D’imenicus after that day. For much of the D’imenici, the aurora is a symbol of the end of the world. For others it is a sign of hope.
This evening, the aurora will again strike the night sky.
