Suspicion turns to certainty

Captains Log, Day 8206

Two more deaths. In a community of 348, even one is tragic. Two deaths, one an outright killing, the other a rather suspicious “accident” is more than improbable. The autopsy and the story the church is putting out about Patrick just don’t match. And as for Pastor Norton, he “just happened” to be in the corridor at the exact moment the pipe blew? And why was Norton there in the first place? He had no reason to be in that part of the ship. One was in the church, one killed by the church. That both were trying to find out what has been happening with the recycling, and both were killed is more than enough evidence for me.

I can’t trust the church, or anyone who may be controlled by them. They obviously want to keep something secret and are willing to kill to do so. I don’t know where to find the answers. But even if I had the answers, what could I do? Would the crew follow me, in opposition to the church? How many? And who to trust?
