ElshaHawk- I was trying something different, using italics to help distinguish the different speakers in the dialogue sections. If people are reading it as thoughts the experiment failed. I should probably go back to a more traditional structure. I stole the hyphenated dialogue from Charlie Huston’s books btw. I like it better than quote marks everywhere.

Wow, this is great. You know what’s happening from the beginning, but the end is surprising. Great story.
