I love the relationship set up between Joe and ‘I’, I can see the scene in the bedroom so clearly. I also enjoyed the set up that she knows Joe is an alien and is fine with it. It describes true love in way, She knows all about him and still loves him, likewise he loves her. An entertaining piece, thankyou.

Very good. I could feel the emotion right along with them. The ending left me worried and angry, and at the same time cheering (quietly) for his seemingly standing up to the young thugs. Loved it.

I agree with Gabriel that it’s a delightful love story in which the speaker accepts Joe for all that he is.

Of course, who wouldn’t? It seems he’s the perfect man. (Or would be, if he were a man.)

Please add more; I want to know how it turns out with the thugs.
