Nice tone; I can really get in the head of this guy. Good pacing, too. The first half sort of reminds me of Fight Club (which is a good thing).

Really solid little bit of who this guy is, all the mistrust in the face of so many details that should inspire the exact opposite. Starting to feel a bit like Dr. Who episode, all this cheery goodness leading up to something dastardly.

Hope it’s okay I made a slight jump and put in a sequel. The scene just sort of popped in and hopefully it doesn’t derail anything you guys had in mind or violate some aspect of the story I missed.

Remember: Just because you’re paranoid, it doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you. :-D
