Unfortunately, the paramedics got to me in time.

Suicide watch. Lame. I said as much to the blurry face talking at me.

“Why do you say that?” asked the blur in the labcoat.

You don’t even have me strapped down. Besides, I’m done. Got what I wanted.

“What was that?”

Escaped the hope-sink. Gushed all over cheerleading uniform. They’ll never get the stains out.

“Uh… how does that make you feel?” His little darker blurs wiggled. Can I go home now?

Like I won. Won the battle, lost the war, the war of entropy. Seriously, catch up. It’s a process, essential, not a side-effect but a mechanism. Who said I was skipping steps? No, I’m not going to slow down, that would be counterproductive. Anyhow, you can’t expect a-

“I think we’re done. Goodnight.” He rapped on the door.
