So basically this is a prophecy of ficly.com itself, written in the style of a certain 16th century alleged prophet starting with N.
In keeping with that style, it’s intended to be vague enough that it obviously refers to ficly.com if you know the code, but could refer to some sort of political or military event if you don’t.
Thus “thread of the eight-legged hunter” = spider web = WWW, but could also refer to (say) an emperor in command of eight armies.
The second line refers to the name “Ficly” (sounds like “fig leaves”) but could refer to (say) a stately building with fig trees planted in the courtyard.
The third line refers to the ~1000 character limit, but “their instrument” could equally be some sort of weapon.
The fourth line refers to Ficly’s sequelling feature, but “the work” could just as easily refer to a military conquest.
