Nice little touches of humor. And the story was engrossing enough that I forgot it was for a color challenge, which really adds to the experience (for me) when the challenge quotas aren’t jumping off the page at me.

The challenge did jump off the page at me, but only because my favorite color is green. :D And I can’t fault you for that. I think this would be an awesome little world to make a long story of.
