I agree with THX, it is simply smooth and bittersweet.

Perhaps it vaguely reminds you of part of “The Chronicles of Riddick”… it’s ok, you can admit to having seen it ;)

I don’t think I’ve ever seen The Chronicles of Riddick, but I’m guessing other folk might get this reference… the inspiration I had for this came in part from seeing the recent film ‘Moon’ – not anything specific, but if you see the film you might get what I mean. I highly recommend it!

I’m not a huge sci-fi fan, as I frequently find that I can’t get a feeling-sense of the characters from within all the jargon. You do the opposite here: evoke beautiful bittersweetness in the otherworldly place… nicely done!
