Judge: “Ms. Edwards, did you see that the ground was wet?”
Ms Edwards: “Well, yes, but …”
Judge: “And did you know that when surfaces get wet, they are slippery?”
Ms. Edwards: Well, sure. But the dolphins were…"
Judge: “SO let me get this straight! You walked, knowingly, in an area of the park, where you know dolphins are swimming and splashing about, and in a place where you observed the ground being wet and slippery, and yet, you continued, of your own free will to walk in said area. And you were SURPRISED when it was ACTUALLY slippery, and you expect ME to award you a law suit of $50,000?”
Ms. Edwards: “Well..”
Judge: “Are you blind, Ms Edwards? Or are you just stupid?”
Ms. Edwards: “Pardon me?”
Judge: “Did you NOT understand the question? Or shall I have Ms. Larner read them back?”
Ms. Edwards: “It was slippery and I fell. My back…”
Judge: “Ms. Larner, could you please read back my statement,”
