Written with the beentheredonethatshruggingitoff flair of a fly on the dolly grip, so to speak. Which in itself is pretty compellling. Have you seen AA Gill’s collection of short travel writings (I think it’s called AA Gill is away)- he wrote a kickass piece along these lines; worth looking out for. (And the piece on Iceland is pretty terrific too.)

A charming little piece that makes us wish she’d written more prose. Such characters captured! Such witty repartee!
